Hi Andrew Thankyou for your reply,I sent a copy to a "trader mate" who is conversant with excel, he has done a course on it and together we will follow it through at weekends, but if I am not careful I will be spending time that should be spent preparing for the market, when the asx closes I start with my scans for the US, Oh,I forgot to mention that most of my trading is on CFD's, its much easier than buying the instrument, it's so easy,if I am long on a stock and it goes against me I simply double the quantity and go short,(not always, all depends)
Another indicator that would be useful would be to differentiate between the number of sales on the bid side and the number of sales on the ask side,(as a %)this would give an idea of how the sentiment for the share was developing, whether the bears are in control or the bulls.
What I am looking for is the holy grail I suppose..
Thankyou for your help,I will get onto it eventually

    cheers bryan
