Why has the bid not been announced as final?

Because I beleive that WNI has every intention of extending.

If they close the bid off now they will be stuck at 80something % and without control of the company. They will have to wait a further 4 months at the minimum to launch a new bid to get the rest.

Much better to scare a few now and extend at the last minute.

Then continue to buy on market.

They want to finialise this as soon as possible. Before the rail information comes out.

Can anyone see an advantage in it for them to not extend?

I beleive good buying at these prices.
