Yes i have had those thoughts as well, but to me Sandpiper is initially the obvious connection between Mawarid Mining and UCL becaz i was well aware that they had become recently the 3rd largest holdr of Nautilus Minerals which hold a decent sized offshore Cu/Au lease in PNG.
This is why i believe they may well take over the other ASX offshore ironsands deposit in PNG but time will tell.Mawarid are specialists in sea floor dredging/mining operations as i understand it.
I am now looking into the ironsands dredging to see if there is any connection.
Damn got that Mawarid to Nautilus UCL/Sandpiper right on the button.
