most interesting thing about bidder's statement is that it does not make bold claims about the bid being recommended by target directors. which would be usual for an agreed deal.
and this was marketed as an agreed deal.
is it still an agreed deal?? the independent expert has had plenty of time to finalise an opinion, and yet the IER was not finalised as of yesterday.
why the delay?
this remains an interesting situation.
