If I am keen to get in or out, I will place my bid accordingly. At the end of day the price will be at a central point calculated from all bids and offers. Therefore it means you will be certain of being taken out at the final designated price. If you say have your bid at a 1.60 and the price closes at 1.60 and there are a 100,000 orders left over your order maybe left on the table. However if your order was above that it would have been completed.
