Sydney - Wednesday - August 8: (RWE Aust Business News) -
Brambles (ASX:BXB) has discovered a further holding of its shares which
are registered in Citigroup's name and belong to Toll Holdings (ASX:TOL).
It has previously found that Toll's spin-off company, Asciano
(ASX:AIO), has acquired a relevant stake in Brambles.
Brambles has sought to ascertain Toll's intentions and Toll has
said it has no particular plan with respect to its Brambles' holding.
However, it has declined to provide Brambles with any assurance
as to its future intentions but said Toll and Asciano were not working
together.
Brambles shares were up 95c to $12.29.
