I'm guessing Oz was smart enough to see the flaws in the US constitution and knock those weak links out when using it as a partial blueprint for our own.

We enjoy a liberal democracy that shares representative government with a constitutional monarch giving it a stable foundation. I'm glad, thanks to QLD, we have compulsary voting to make sure the turnout is maximised and the moaners minimised because of it,

I'm also glad the US has the system of govt it does because they take all the inane risks and we enjoy the rewards.
