Lol it pathetic that anyone really thinks he'll implement any reforms that favour his biggest contributors and enrich himself. Unwinding global supply chains would see US stagflation.

I was reflecting on Trumps first attempt to get China to do trade deal given the balance of.trade deficit, Ji just refused to remove tariffs so Trump lost face with them as he threaten to do same on China. Still no concession out of China. China did agree however to buy US goods which they were already doing to give Trump a headline. Then COVID came along before anything was formalised. Trump held off as long as possible and delayed responding to the pandemic for 2 months in the hope of finalising. Once he realised the world was shutting down he went on attack with "Chinavirus". This is all based off interviews with his own adminstration.
