Perhaps you need to read what you posted.

A restriction is not a ban. And in any case, what was the restriction? "Foreign nationals" who had been in China in the previous 14 days. American citizens who had been in China were completely unaffected by this restriction- and so literally planeloads of infected Americans were walking through customs at US airports, with no questioning, no screening, no testing and no quarantine.

Literally carrying payloads of virus straight from China, straight into the hearts of every major American city. And of course, now we can all see the result of the abject ignorance of the Trump administration; the death toll is at nearly 10,000 people, and it will be an absolute miracle if they lose less than half a million.
