    Surprise (?). I agree that a valid ID should be mandatory.

    Georgia is moving from signature matching to more secure ID. They have proposed issuing free ID cards but the current complaint is that making a driver's licence the key would disadvantage some.

    Is the lack of ID in some areas due to laziness, inability to get to an issuing office in work hours or resistance to Government Control ?

    Why limit the number of drop boxes once the ID issue is "solved" ?

    Doesn't matter. They need valid ID & have time to create a system that doesn't rest on an item that not everyone has.

    They key question is, why haven't the 50 States tightened up ID requirements long ago ??
