quite wrong ......Ukraine was forbidden NATO membership previously .....now NATO members are saying it is inevitable that Ukraine will eventualy join
What putin wanted was the land ..... he enterred this war claiming Donbas (which is ethnicaly majority Ukrainian) ....but added on Kharkiv and Kherson .....and was attacking towards Kyiv and Odesa ....he wanted the land ....he wanted CONTROL of Ukraine .
This war was never about russ security which is worse now because of the war ....but about russian expansionism ....annexing bits of Ukraine russia has no right to .
Two and a half years in putin has not acheived even one of his stated objectives .
