Simple step would have been...We refuse to threaten Russian sovereignty and people by putting nuclear weapons on the border with a 4-minute travel time to destination....these people are progressives by group so by the numbers are low in morality, empathy, compassion and that's all before even considering the wider cognition deficits.
Every country has the right to invade on security concerns any other country...the west just thought they could continue the years long already abuse of Russia forever...the west was wrong and if they were technically capable of embarrassment in lieu of anger they should be feeling general embarrassed already...but no they are now angry instead (like every good sociopath and psychopath)....gotta love low functioning phenotypes misappropriate correct emotions for circumstance they themselves created.
