So far the republicans only lost 1 seat in the senate and so still control it. While the official count is ongoing they will win Alaska and so only need 1 seat from Georgia to retain control of the senate which looks likely to happen
In the house of Reps, instead of losing seats they actually won 5 more which was a huge upset for the Dems. By the 2022 mid-terms the Dems will be slaughtered and likely lose the House of Reps as well while the senate seats up for reelection are majority republican seats and could very well also be retain by the republicans. It's possible by 2022 republicans control both the senate and house

So for all the useless, jawboning, empty talking heads celebrating a Biden win, at this stage Biden is just a token figure head president that has little to no chance of achieving anything in his first term.
So no, there will be no "Green New Deal" garbage, no pivot away from fossil fuels or any other progressive agendas unless they want to be obliterated in 2022 and kicked out by 2024
