Do you have kids?
I'm assuming you do

So when you're wife was pregnant:

• Did ya both, "Try to have a baby???"
• Did you not celebrate when ya found out?
• Did you not fully believe your wife was carrying both of your child?
• Did ya not marvel at the thought "Im gonna be a Dad?"
• If your wife sadlymiscarried, did you not think you had just lost a child?
  
• Did you not think about the future of the child you were bringing to the world?
• Were you not fearful and hence hopeful all went well?
• Were you not praying or wishing at least it was born free of abnormalities?
• Did your wife not eat well to nourish the life inside her?
• Did she not avoid things like alcohol & drugs to prevent them from harming your child?
• Did you have ultrasound to ensure all was going well and maybe to find out the sex of the child?
• If you had two kids (or more) did you not think what it would be like for your other child who would soon have a new brother or sister?

If you say yes to those which of course you DID...if the baby was not alive in your mind...why would any of those thoughts have a reason to be?
