How embarrassing was that..."that fellow Down Under".
It shows how Australia is not as important on the international stage. It would be interesting what the full pact/deal includes.
What we do need to know is the full justification as to why Australia needs submarines at all...clearly about China - but what 'Aussie' company will be getting $$ out of this...follow the train and you will see which former poli is the non-executive director or advisor.... As well how these nuclear powered submarines will be maintained or even serviced. This also includes where exactly will they be stored? Sydney Harbour? I don't think so...especially leafy greenies/inner-city hipsters jumping up and down. More important how much will the contract severance/ending the contract cost Australia?$10Billion and the rest. How much will Australia pay/cost to purchase these new subs?
