If B is out...surely that means he's out of the race but still in the chair til the election
If so who takes top of ticket?
If he steps down, then Harris steps in and she has to be the top of ticket unless Option 2 below prevails
The first question is....can he be swapped out on the ballot?
Many states already having delegates pledged for him and laws in place that prohibit a change at this juncture, may mean getting someone else on the ballot is either far too hard or one that will need to be done in the courts
Option 1 and 21. Harris steps in and selects a running mate - death choice...and they know it but the prospect of swapping out the first possible woman and "black" woman as the POTUS for anyone other than a black person at least, will tear the party apart.
