The (D)s have gotten themselves in a pickle of their own making. By always playing the race card and insisting on DEI, they chose K as VP and are now stuck with her.
If they dump her they lose the black female vote, if they nominate her there aren't enough black females to elect her, especially in fly-over country.
But it's all moot, Joe is selfish and arrogant so won't step down, especially with (Dr) Jill craving the spotlight and Hunter knowing Joe is the only one who can save him from serious prison time.
BTW I am not saying the status quo will not change, it will and unpredictably, possibly explosively.
