Whilst this report is speculation do shareholders really want to see CNP taken over? It may suit a few shareholders but the vast majority have either been long term holders who probably have paid $4 plus given till recently this was the lowest price since 2004, or are new long term shareholders who are happy to reap long term rewards.
Does anyone really believe the true value of CNP will be received in any takeover offer?
Sure the share price might double, even triple, but is this still a fair price?
Personally hope for all shareholders CNP solve their own problems & no low ball offer succeeds.
I know it is painful short term but hopefully shareholders can see the big picture long term.
