I too are in for the long hall. Have bought small parcels starting at 3.56, then 2.82, 2.62, then the big fall, bought back in at 0.93 and 1.00 once i could see some hint of a turnaround.Average around 2.20 so know it will take some time before i get in black and like others have a wife who said the other night to me " maybe investing in the sharemarket is not for you based on recent loses", but i cant seem to convince her that my research leads me to believe i will make money in the long haul and all she sees are the paper loses. It hasnt helped that my portfolio also holds recent poor performers like TLS and CBA as well as copping a hit on ASB after a recent downgrade, so cant win even with the blue chips.
