Wouldn’t they need to have a much larger plant in order to lease electrolyte?
And if the lease period is 50 years (based on that cost model used by institutions that was displayed in the Diggers presentation) ..then Iwonder at what year of rental would the lease become more profitable than direct sales (perhaps with a buyback at ‘end of life’ offer?).
FWIW in respect of the new Invinity Mistral model that comes in at 30% cheaper, I saw Yadamalka used one of the old models and in 2020 the cost of installation was estimated at $20.3m
