Surely this was a safety incident, at least.

It looks to me as though instead of reporting a serious safety incident, as such, (and risk a catastrophy in the SP) they converted it into a success story. (Clever or dodgy tactic , I leave that to you).

Perhaps: No trading at the time and under control very quickly, (before Oz trading day), so no TH needed.

What we do not know is how it was brought under control. Clever technical work, or a down hole collapse, for example?

Also SL, thanks for the T +3 scenario for EOFY; that was my original thinking, but it seems lots of investors and accountants do not know this.
