The day after the PQ minority election, Martine Ouellet...

The day after the PQ minority election, Martine Ouellet mentioned that she wouldn't see the day where shale gas exploration could be done cleanly!

    That’s all true, however…

Marois, Quebec’s new Prime Minister is now backtracking from comments made by her new Natural Resources minister (Martine Ouellet).

Marois is saying that she'll wait for the BAPE report before taking a decision on shale gas exploitation and that she'll have the final word over her Natural Resources minister’s saying.

    Implant,
In my opinion, it’s not going to be an easy task to win in Quebec. To say that shale gas exploration is unsafe and that it will not benefit is just careless. Martine Ouellet was acting on her own and has actively supported Quebec activists. Just take a quick read through any newspaper article in Quebec and you’ll soon understand how broke this province really is. They are desperate for money!

And how ironic is this…they continue to ask for cash handouts and buy gas from their neighboring provinces/states. Quebec is an embarrassment to the rest of Canada.

This from a poster on another site:

“The new pathetic Natural Resources Minister (that stated that she doesn't see the day where fracking could be done cleanly) is once again looking as a clown with the release of a Gaz Metro request addressed to the Regie de l'Energie to import more natural gas.

Such gas would come from B-C and Ohio. So mostly from shales!

In life, when you snooze, you lose. And that's what we do here in Quebec with these leftist that are starting to take a little bit too much place. But if the PQ continues like it does since election time, its reign could very be short.

Next Monday, out from Texas, something very interesting (Showcase Environmentally Friendly Drilling Technologies) will make the PQ look even more stupid with their position on shale gas.”
