They made an official asx announcement regarding corporate interests. They aren't allowed to just make that kind of stuff up .

Rather than continue to deal with these requests on an ad hoc basis, the Ampella Board has resolved to instruct its financial and legal advisers to undertake a targeted process to test whether any party with an interest in Ampella is willing to put forward a proposal which is attractive enough to win the unanimous support of the Ampella Board."
They are merely trying to stem the flow of misguided selling , and at the same time , defending the shares from being accumulated for a song by a potential suitor imo.
This should also put some pressure on interested parties to make a move. If they want the data, put in at least a lowball offer to get a peek !!! $3/ share should do it. ...
