My dear old thing ( to borrow a certain cricket something), the fix is in. Just as in the pandemic, the states are doing the heavy lifting, on both fronts, coal won't die tomorrow,or the day after, but its day in the sun, is comin to and end. Maybe 18 months 2 years ago, I posted a link from some amercian outfit, that Oz and china could drastically cut world emissions for steel making, if instead of just Oz exporting the iron ore, we turned it into pig iron, via solar and wind energy in the Pilbara. Thus reducing overall world emissions concerning steel making. This scenario could happen, but not under the the noalation. It can and should happen under a labor fed govt.
I despise the noalition using china for re-election purposes.
