    Yep has to be Talbot!

Looks like they are trying to monetise their assets.

Now who has the $190m in cash to splash to acquire SDL shares is the next question...............The Chinese or the Koreans? Maybe a large insto or Super Fund!

We'll find out soon enough! :)

    Cheers Nectar

A LARGE parcel of shares in iron ore explorer Sundance Resources worth around $190.9 million changed hands on the Australian Securities Exchange late today, according to exchange data.

The trade, equivalent to around 16 per cent of the company, was traded for 44 cents per share.

The stock was trading around 49.5c to 50c immediately before and after the transaction and last traded at 49c, up 2c on the day.

The stake is the same as the holding in the company owned by Talbot Group Investments, a mining investment group whose founder Ken Talbot was killed in an air crash while visiting Sundance's Mbalam project on the border of the central African countries of Cameroon and Republic of Congo last year.

Sundance chairman George Jones said said the parcel had been Talbot Group's stake.

"It wasn't a surprise," he told Dow Jones Newswires. "The trustees of the Talbot Group are looking to monetise all the assets. People from the estate have been consulting with me and they reached the stage where it was time to move."

Talbot Group last month also sold its entire stake in uranium explorer Marathon Resources for about $13m and is the largest shareholder of Karoon Gas with a 13.1 per cent stake that has a current market value of $193.9m.

Asked whether the Talbot Group had sold out of the company, Talbot chief executive Shane Edwards said: "We make no comment on our businesses."
