I'm no expert, but in speaking with friends of mine who trade they have suggested that it is probably just the T+3 factor. This aligns with the volume late last week. Maybe traders bought in expecting the announcement and have cut their losses within the 3 day window to preserve their capital? If this is the case then maybe it's a good things as someone (perhaps an ADO an investor like the majority of us) has accumulated during the sell down and they will get the benefit of the announcement?

I do know that if you weren't a believer, ADO would send you grey (and fast). Perhaps ADO isn't a great stock to put a stop loss on either as there always seems to be some sort of manoeuvring going on in the background.
