no problem with debt for infrastructure and development. it will eventually pay for itself and some if used correctly.
but big screen tv's, $300k for a school hall when only 10 kids go to the school and an ill conceived insulation racket that probably did more harm than good. that is wasted money that will weigh us down for decades.
i've been involved in the schools program and in my trade there wasn't enough trades to do the work which drove prices higher in the larger community due to a lack of trades.
