maybe what FNT has been saying is true, not part of track anyway. mine can go ahead and the treckers can still trek. if they were going to be worse off financially by blocking the track do you think they would, they are in poverty as it is
what is costing the villagers millions is their government.
they dont get anything from the trekers walking through, they pass through in a few hours and most dont stay there
the protest will be more important for local politics, i see the png opposition is saying they are becoming like zimabwe at the hands of somare.
