Sometime ago I mentioned that I would ask Natalie Worley about the studies being completed at PHill.
I spoke to Natalie regarding the studies.
Natalie referred me to the last quarterly report. This report mentions the 'underground mining study' in the Munda Kalaya zone. This study is slated for 2011- 2012.
There are no other 'studies' as such. And this is the limit of Natalies report. However, in looking at the recent quarterly report I noted the reference to the 'study'. I then had a look at the recent analyst presentation. These two reports informed the comments recorded below.
But there are ongoing and planned investigations.
Foe example it can be assumed that the pit will continue to the originally reported 'stage 4'. This progress probably involves ongoing monitoring of grade, rock hardness, overburden removal etc. This could be referred to as a 'study'.
There is also 'a program of drilling' for areas under the stage 4 pit outline. Drilling under the western part of the stage 4 pit outline is scheduled for 2012; under the central part of Malu is scheduled for 2012-2013.
The bottom line is that communication requires agreement on the definition of the words we use. Best wishes to all, HC42
