Hi all more of a general question as this is my first time into shares like ive mentioned

I have received a letter from the asx as a new chess holder

It says residency indicator: Domestic (as i am australian)

My question is...if big decides to list on the NASDAQ (ny stock exchange incase i got that wrong bur pretty sure i didnt)...does that mean that i would see no benefit as i am only entitled to domestic shares? What would happen to all our shares if that happened?
