He was making the point that people who hold options don't need to sell their current holding to fund the exercise of the options because they're only 20-30c.

But yes you're right those with options may elect to simply sell the shares once issued for a significant profit. There's millions of options expiring by the end of the year, lots of supply. Many will continue to hold some will sell a part and some will sell them all. See the recent 3B announcement from the 18th.
