I'm not sure you understand how this business works, Blobbie.
The deferred revenue exists only because it is accounted for as a subscription, even though clients pay upfront. If anything it is a very conservative way to account for your revenue, not the other way around. Hence the negative market reaction.
Does it make sense to you ?
