Germany , as I am led to believe has increased it's reliance on brown coal power gen as a result of knee jerk shutdown of Nuke plants after Fukushima.As result the average German is paying well over the odds for their electricity as a result of a highly subsidised wind power programme whilst being subject to increased coal power emissions. Bit of a dogs breakfast by the sound of it.
