big daddy always out of control....friday

In memory of the original cranker, Big Daddy, bless him.


He showed up on the lists a little worse for wear. Lost and homeless, a barn find like so many others.....





The XJO crowd took him in. Rolling up their sleeves they got to work, peeling back the layers of grime and years of neglect....





A shot coat of primer and a look inside was all it took to see he had promise, that something special that made you look twice....





After many nights burning the midnight oil, when they finally rolled him out of the XJO garage, all could see he was a true thoroughbred....





With classic curves, a leader not a follower....





Of course there were pretenders.... but none gave them a second glance





And he flaunted with the Mods regularly....





Regardless, and in true Big Daddy style, he would mount his trusty El Camino, stall up the cammy 396 and show them all how it was done....
