This makes me think of how it must have been on the Titanic...

We all were so proud to get the early economy tickets for the ride of a lifetime. Now it is sinking, we are all stuck down in the hold, while the big money is rowing away because they could see the iceberg early on.

It appears to me that this is now a race to see who will be left holding nothing as much as even a life jacket, with some here cheerfully waving as others drift off to safety, fully believing that they will come back and save them. Others are kicking and screaming, but the optimists just turn on them and tell them that the ship is unsinkable...

But while those of us left continue to bicker, the ship just keeps sinking, bit by bit..
