No probs Baron.....its all about a learning curve for most people here....i have used charts for 5 years now and look at potential breakouts from increased volume or directional movement and bollinger bands...from experience i have also noted that stocks that have an unstable trend are very high risk ..penny dreadfuills fall into this catogory and should not replace your wife/girlfriend(in other words dont fall in love with them)....the stocks that show steady gains and in an uptrend will make you more money over the longer term....ask warren buffett.....lol
