Oh how the once mighty defensive stocks have fallen. MDT, MCW, MCG and MIG all Macquarie offshoots used to have pride of place in the defensive part of my portfolio. All paid divs or distributions and what has happened. I got out ages ago and for a lot more than current prices but am shocked at just how low theyhave since gone. Heres hoping they have sorted and are on the way back but hopefully not under the past gearing levels or astronomical fee structures that had to be paid to Macquarie Bank. Good luck to all holders.
