Karora has 6.9 million CAD earnings in the last reported quarter, not bad for a 1 billion dollar acquisition..right..right? This would be higher with the higher gold price obviously, I wonder what the annual multiple they are paying would be though, 12-14x FCF? Im sure someone smart within the company will run the numbers. They are also getting 3.2 M oz at a head grade of 2g/t.
Id say they are betting on a turnaround here, it is a seperate hub so not a crazy amount of synergy that will lower costs to a large degree.
