As I see it, RMS advisors have had quiet words in various insto's ears, about raising equity to fund an acquisition, these fundies then contact some of their big clients to gauge their appetite to kick in a few mill. One of these clients then tells one of their mates, who tells someone else and they dump. If I was one of them, and dumped a million shares and ASIC contacted me as to why I sold, I would simply say, I saw the market crashing on RMS so sold, I had no inside info. How could they prove it, especially if I was a mate of a mate of mate, different if my partner was an insider at one of the broking houses doing the legwork.
