Thank you for the sentiment also.
I have been unwell for a week but not the virus. A head cold and a bit tired.
Letting people go is very difficult and emotional.
It also costs business a fortune to train staff. So to dismiss staff is a necessity but a double edged sword.
I estimate that dismissal and then re-hire and train for the specific roles I manage, would be $60,000 per person as they walk out the door.
Businesses will be brought to their knees with ongoing consequences.
As I say, am trying to encourage Sharon and myself to think on good and positive things.
We all still have so much to be thankful for..![]()
