There are many risks to the Apium model.. Existing experienced competent vets have gutted a large slab of their pig clients and I assume the same will occur in beef & dairy. They may then be a drug wholesaler / dispensary - there are businesses eyeing of their turf. So they may have had the best of it.
Or as you speculated it maybe someone selling who knows nothing or selling shares out of escrow.
