Founding a business is different to investing. I made my wealth via building a business, but investing is a very different thing.
You get wealthy by being right (having an edge) and not risking too much on any one position so that you are not wiped out if something unexpected happens. I lost a good chunk of a Sydney house on MUS, but because I followed the Kelly Criterion I am far from sleeping on the street (my loss on MUS was all paper profit, but it still feels very real).
