Srsly, BIG are going to be so incredibly huge.
This video is excellent...and there's some serious threads to tie in here re this video and some of my previous posts, so bear with me.
Watch this interview with Richard and Brandon, there are some great insights into howRichard sees video being used in the near future. A must watch. This should be on the corporate spotlight headline on HC tbh.
Notice that it's hosted by Inc Magazine, from November 2017.
Inc Magazine is where these two articles about and by David Steinberg were published.
In this one, David talks about being an entrepreneur, starting up at home and building his business himself. He also says his particular approach (reliance on metrics) stems from his DYSLEXIA.
In this one, he writes about how important it was to have his mentor (John Sculley of Apple and Pepsi) and how much he learnt, and the lessons he learnt, from John.
David Steinberg, dyslexic start up whizz, self made CEO, personable guy, highly values mentoring.
Enter Brandon Evertz, dyslexic start up whizz kid, his story gets media, attracts a certain CEOs attention. CEO realises Brandon's idea and business is actually amazing and full of potential. Contact is made, David sees himself in Brandon and is interested in getting involved, perhaps to even live out his desire to be a mentor to a young entrepreneurial whizz from a younger generation.
On top of the personal motivation, it becomes very apparent that the two businesses are actually a perfect fit.
The relationship is formalised, Steinberg becomes chairman of BIG Global Advisory Board, takes personal stake in the form of BIG stock, signs mutual deals to support BIG with Zeta's massive marketing database, hands over youbeauty.com as a kick starter gift, uses his relationship with Inc Magazine to start the US press junket rolling for BIG.
From Inc Mag:
"Steinberg isn't just shopping for client rosters and technology platforms. He is shopping for entrepreneurs as well."
