Drill bits or more correctly drill pipe gets stuck from a difference in the hydrostatic pressure, or on highly deviated wells when the bit doesn’t make the turn or when the reservoir is unstable and sluffs in.

Drilling is very dynamic, lots of things go on simultaneously. The bit is rotating, the drill pipe is going down and the mud is being circulated through the drill pipe, cleans out the cuttings in the bit and then circulates back to surface. We always maintain circulation of the mud, that is the most important factor in drilling

Stuck pipe is more prevalent in a pure wildcat well when the reservoir characteristics are unknown. Borba is not a wildcat well for sure

The reservoir characteristics are well known, there have been a plethora of wells drilled and the drilling expertise is high and our drilling contractor has been around for a long time.

In drilling one can never be sure but for Borba the chance of stuck pipe is very very low
