Quite clearly, you wouldn't want an additional 1.5 million shorts crashing into your buy side today but when they were most active doesn't appear to have been a logical place to be shorting either because the chart around the most active shorting period was printing a series of higher lows. The points were that shorts are active but they'll have to square the ledger at some point so grab some popcorn.
