Whners will be pleased to note the companies showing strong interest in the next batch of permits off Kenya. interesting to note that "The companies specified they wanted deepwater offshore blocks," Alfred Odawa, a consultant geologist at the energy ministry, told Reuters.
Let's hope these are the same companies negotiating with WHN for its offshore permits, considering those involved are "France's Total, Norway's Statoil, Brazil's Petrobras, New York-listed Apache Corporation and UK's Tullow Oil Plc".
Just go to Kenya and turn right fellas!
