Projects are short duration which doesn’t benefit AVL (other than energy storage sector getting attention and a rising tide lifting all boats).
The renewables push is growing at an incredible rate. Every technology will have its place. VFB is medium-long duration storage of which 7-10GWh needs to be added per annum through to 2040.
Don’t be disheartened that VFBs weren’t picked for these batteries, no one is tipping Collingwood to win the NRL premiership either…. Horses for courses
