I seem to be hearing a lot of journalists and tv business reporters using the term Blended Coal fired power stations. I know gas was once used but now so expensive would only add to power costs so wont happen. So is there any other cheap clean options besides the obvious. 600,000 tonnes at Yallourn maybe handy.
