Don't beat yourself up arronk you held on to them because you could see the value, you can always sell it is only a few percent. Todays share movements are well below Pattersons valuation, I am hoping that the upside is closer to 100% medium term. The driver for me, is a good pharma company to partner. The board now seems shaped to do this.
Things I like about this stock are
(a) It is trying to help people, malaria outbreaks are still too common. (ethical)
(b) Drug based on plant as todays announcement shows has high efficacy (related) and is displacing current therapies
(c) Low market cpaitalisation, can easily move to 50M without much market resistance given the right tail wind.
(d) Current competitive trial also will drive SP higher early next year
(e) the unknown, there has been talk of this drug class being useful for other pathogens, virus - can't predict this one.
(f) Has money in the bank, enough for (d)...
