I am surprised many of you even respond to so called valuation calls by any posters. It is either what they honestly think, they are messing with other posters or they are just trying to affect price (and considering we have had $310,000mn traded today in BHP - well - good luck!!)
The analysts at investment banks have done how well over the last year or two ? Anyone heard of GS Abby Cohen ? Great in bull mkt's !! To put a price on anything without a 10 page report is just guessing - and even with 10 pages it is still an educated guess with a DCF. All we all can do is just try to put a price on our conjecture. Let's face it if China put another $1trn in stimulus out there tomorrow what happens to our valuations now ?
However, I think with everything we know at this moment that BHP is a possible sell .. and I have no clue as to how far it will fall if I happen to be correct !!
